Well,  "chubby hubby" had a fabulous idea for today's blog entry:  Almond Roca.  he sent me the recipe that wet his appetite.  So, I tried it out - not so bad for a humid "taste kitchen Tuesday"

Crossfit???

Well, I have finally caved!  Sea has been trying to get me into crossfit for the past year now, and well....

I finished my triathlon - no more training! 

So, here goes:  I am officially a crossfitter!  WooHoo

Carnival Time!!

My talented friends have done it again!!  This time she designed her very own carnival!  It sure was hot in Queens that day in the park - but we had a blast!!! 

Tons of candy, popcorn, an actual working cotton candy machine !

BBQ, corn-on-the-cobb, pulled pork, empanadas, cuban sandwiches, tacos and TONS more food

& Yes folks...surprise, surprise :) I made funnel cakes!

OK, so I'm still alittle skepticle about NY beaches, but I must say - we did have fun!!!

Finally Triathlon day!!!!

The day started off great!  I wasn't sure I'd actually make it to this point - but we did it!!!

Once a year on Museum Mile there is a festival to encourage people of all ages to visit the Museums and they are ALL free of charge for the evening....

So in good fashion, we decided to hit the ones with the most expensive entry fee 1st :) Gotta love NYC!
